Super Buys at Target

Great buy on Tostito's chips, when you buy two bags ($6/2) you get a free jar of salsa ($2.50).  Some of the bags have $1 peelie coupons on them, so make sure you pick those ones, and you'll get all three items for only $4.  I also had a tear pad coupon while shopping at Publix for a free bag of Lay's chips wyb two Tositos (value $2.99)— so I got all four items for $4!

If you have $1 coupons for Rayovac batteries (I had five) you can pick up free batteries in the Dollar Spot.  The coupons say alkaline, but some cashiers don't care which type you get.  I got these five packages for free.

Vitamin water was on sale for $1, so I used a manufacturer coupon for $1/2 and got them for 50 cents each.

This flavor of fruit roll-ups were clearance priced $1.48.  I picked up four boxes and used two coupons for $1/2, making each box less than $1.

A few weeks ago, I mentioned the hang-tag coupons on Tide with Febreze laundry detergent, these were store coupons for $1.50 off the Tide and $2.50 off Champion apparel.  I used my last two Champion coupons on these items: A man's jacket regularly about $22, marked down 75% off, less coupon, I paid about $2.50.  Also I picked up a pair of women's yoga pants for the same price— I saved about 90% on each clothing item.  Lastly, I picked up a giant scarf on 75% clearance for $3.24.  Retail cost would have been $93 on this shopping trip, my cost was under $19.
Always keep an eye out for hang-tag coupons, blinking coupon dispensers and peelies on the products.  The savings especially add up when you get free products with the purchase of another (like - free milk wyb two Nabisco cookies).

$10 FREE GAS and OTHER DEALS

Publix is running the gas card promotion again this week.  When you spend $25 in groceries, you can use a $10 off coupon in their flyer to get a $50 BP gas card for $40.  That's 20% savings on gas!  You can get more than one if you have the coupon and make the grocery purchase of $25.

Here are some sale/coupon scenarios to spend $25 before coupons in order to get the deal.  In this case, I did not hand in all of my coupons until I reached the full amount, then I gave the cashier the gas card and the $10 off store coupon in order to meet the requirements, then I handed over my manufacturer and additional store coupons for the final tally.

I did this at two different locations today, and I plan to do it a few more times during the sale.
